Returning to Potsdam after a 2-0 weekend in Pennsylvania, the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team hosts Vermont State University Castleton on Wednesday at Alumni Gymnasium.

The Series: Just the third all-time meeting between the two schools, Clarkson won in 1987-88 but Castleton earned the victory in last year's matchup in a 44-35 win in Vermont. Raelin Burns (17 points), Cassidy Dumont (7 points) and Fallon Griffin (7 points) led the Knights.

Emma Chambers was the All-Tournament selection for the Knights in her home state, the junior posted a career-high 15 against Cedar Crest and is averaging 8.3 ppg.
Key Stats for Castleton (2-1): The Spartans are coming off a 2-0 weekend, hosting the Spartan Classic in Castleton this past weekend. A 76-56 victory over Hartwick on Saturday was followed by a 100-10 drumming of Fisher College (Mass.) on Sunday, where the team tied the program record for most points in a game, matching a win over Green Mountain College in 2014. As a team Castleton averages 17 assists and 12.7 steals per game but also struggles with turnovers, averaging 17.3 through three games so far. Senior Stasia Epler leads the team in scoring with 14.3 points per game with 3.7 assists per contest. Arianna Coombs (11 ppg) leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 7 rebounds a game while sister Bella Coombs has come off the bench to average 9.0 points and 7.3 rebounds through 18 minutes per game.
