Taking a break from the Liberty League schedule, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team faces its final non-conference foe on Wednesday when the team hosts SUNY Potsdam at Hantz Field.

The Series: Clarkson last faced SUNY Potsdam in 2023 when the Knights set a program record with 25 goals scored in a game. Clarkson has surpassed 15 goals in each of the last four contests against the Bears and has won each of those games by at least 10 goals.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-5): Three-time Liberty League All-Star Rylee Ganter enjoyed an outstanding weekend against two top-20 ranked teams in Ithaca College and William Smith College, netting seven groundballs and five caused turnovers. Overall, Ganter is tied for sixth in the conference in caused turnovers per game (1.55 ctpg), leading the Golden Knights with 17 to go along with 19 groundballs. Fellow graduate student Meredith James has also stood out on defense with 13 groundballs and five caused turnovers.

Key Stats for SUNY Potsdam (5-5): The Bears began 2025 with a mark of 5-0 and averaging nearly 18 goals per game, but things changed once the SUNYAC season started. Since mid-March, Potsdam is 0-5, having recorded double figures in goals only once. Lindsey LaDue leads the team in most categories, having tallied 52 points on 33 goals and 19 assists as well as recording 29 groundballs, 39 draw controls, and 15 caused turnovers. Jayla Thompson has also surpassed 30 points already with 31 goals and five assists for 36 points.
