The end of a seven-game home stand comes this weekend for the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team, as the team takes on Vassar College and Bard College at Alumni Gymnasium.

The Series: In the first meeting against Bard, the Golden Knights were outrebounded by a margin of 25, but came away with a win thanks to taking care of the ball with a plus-19 figure in turnovers (25-6). Vassar steadily pulled away from Clarkson in the first contest, holding the Knights to just 2-for-18 shooting from beyond the arc.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-14, 1-9 Liberty League): Four times this season the Knights have hit 10 or more 3-pointers in the game. The Green and Gold are second in the conference in 3-pointers made with 115, just seven behind the league's leader. The Knights are also busy on defense, forcing 17.2 turnovers per game (second most in the Liberty League) thanks to 10.24 steals per game (second in the Liberty League). Clarkson has four players ranking in the top 15 in the Liberty League in steals per game, including conference leader Cassidy Dumont (2.6 spg).

Key Stats for Vassar (16-1, 10-0 Liberty League): Just a few votes short of joining the top 25 in the latest WBCA poll, the Brewers have beaten every opponent in the conference by double figure save for two (Ithaca and Skidmore). Three players are scoring more than 13 points per game, led by Julia Harvey's 14.9 ppg. Sierra McDermed (13.6 ppg) and Tova Gelb (13.2 ppg) also rank in the top seven in the league in scoring average along with Harvey. Gelb has six double-doubles this year and is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game as well. Both McDermed (48.8%) and Gelb (48.6%) hit close to have of their shots from the floor.

Key Stats for Bard (4-12, 0-10 Liberty League): Shirley Dong and Maggy Peyton are tied for the team lead in scoring at 9.3 points per game, though Peyton hasn't played since early January and was absent during the first meeting against Clarkson. Lexi Miller had a solid game against the Knights on January 5, recording one of her three double-doubles this season with 14 points and 14 rebounds. The Raptors are last in the league in scoring with just 45.3 points per game, which is due in part to a league-high 21.6 turnovers per game.
