Clarkson was able to shine in front of a crowd of near 700 and six Olympians to cruise to a 5-0 win over Bemidji St. tonight at Cheel Arena.  Michelle Pisiechnyk picked up her 2nd shut out in as many starts making 20 saves in the win.  
After a scoreless first, the Knights took the lead on a milestone point for 
Gabrielle David.  At 9:40 of the 2nd, 
Ashlyn Ham scored her first as a Golden Knight with an assist from David, which was her 100th career point.

Anne Cherkowski scored on the power play, giving the Knights a 2-0 lead they would take into the break. 
In the 3rd period, Clarkson struck fast, :25 seconds in when 
Darcie Lappan got her 2nd of the season.  Then at 9:58 
Sena Catterall got her first as a Golden Knight to make it 4-0, and Cherkowski got her 2nd of the game to finish it off for Clarkson.  
Bemidji was 0 for 2 with the power play and Clarkson was 1 for 4 with the advantage.  
Clarkson out shot BSU 29 to 20 in the game.
The two teams will meet back up at 2:00 pm tomorrow at Cheel Arena.  Clarkson will honor the Olympic Six during the game tomorrow.  Fans can meet the Olympians before the game for pictures and autographs and there will be a cereony after the game.  Admission is FREE for all that attend.
