Clarkson hosted Brown in a return to ECAC play on Friday night at Cheel Arena.

Brown jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Maya Mangiafico scored at 13:16 of the first.  Kirstyn McQuigge evened the game with a seeing eye shot from the point to get her first of the season at 15:47, with assists from Olivia Hanson and Florence Lessard.   

The second period saw the Knights ramp up the offensive pressure with the Knights outshooting the Bears, 13 to 6 and getting goals from Nicole Gosling at 5:55 on the Power Play and Jenna Goodwin at 13:17.

Clarkson finished off Brown in the third with goals from Laurence Frenette and Kristina Schuler.  Nicole Gosling ended up with a goal and 2 assists, Olivia Hanson and Haley Winn each added two helpers

Michelle Pasiechnyk made 22 saves, as the Knights out shot their opponent for the 14th of 15th time this season.

Clarkson special teams held up going 1 for 2 on the Power Play and holding Brown to 0 for 2 on the penalty kill.

Clarkson will host Yale tomorrow at 3:00 pm.
