Women's Hockey Travels to Colgate

The Clarkson Women's Hockey team hit the road for the first time this season as they headed downstate to Hamilton, NY to face Colgate in the 2nd game of a 4 game non league series. The Raiders won the opening game 3-1 at Cheel on Saturday. Avery Mitchell got the lone goal for the Knights in the 3rd period. The Knights out shot the Raiders but couldn't breakthrough until late in the game against the veteran squad.

The Knights are looking to find their scoring groove with a balanced attack. 2020 Patty Kaz and ECAC Player of the Year, Elizabeth Giguere is with ECAC Rookie of the Year Gabrielle David and Brooke McQuigge, who is one of the Knights most effective power forwards. Caitrin Lonergan is back in the line up and paired with Graduate Transfer Sena Hanson and Sr Kristy Pidgeon. This veteran line produced good chances in game one and will gel as they get more time together.
