Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Golden Knights lead 35-23 overall in the all-time series, but Potsdam ended an eight-game losing streak against Clarkson last year with a 74-63 win at Maxcy Hall. The previous eight games in which Clarkson came away victorious, the Golden Knights won by an average margin of 16.5 points per game.

Key Stats for Clarkson (1-1): The Golden Knights had an up and down weekend, blowing out Morrisville but falling by double figures to Wisconsin-Superior in the Max Ziel Tournament championship game on Saturday. Junior Hannah Earl was the most consistent player over the weekend averaging 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 2.0 assists per game, including a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds versus Morrisville. Senior Molly Stewart scored one point fewer than Earl over the weekend, averaging 11.5 points per game to go along with five rebounds. Freshman Mariah Benavides made an impression in her first collegiate games, averaging 9.5 points and 4.0 assists per contest.

Key Stats for Potsdam (1-2): A year ago, first-year collegians Devyn Elliott and Dyamon Hunter led the Bears, averaging close to 30 points per game combined. Hunter scored 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting last year and is off to a hot start in 2019, averaging 22.7 points per game through three contests. Her biggest performance came in a close loss to Coast Guard, shooting 14-for-26 for 34 points. Devyn Elliott tossed in 16 last year versus the Knights, and is producing 20.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per game thus far. Those numbers are bolstered considerably by a 28-point, 24-rebound performance against Cazenovia in the team's season-opener.
