The Series vs. Rensselaer: In terms of games played, only St. Lawrence has a lengthier rivalry against Clarkson, as the Golden Knights and Engineers have competed on 70 occasions since 1977-78. RPI holds a 50-20 edge in the all-time series, but Clarkson has won four of the past five games, including a sweep in 2016-17.

The Series vs. Skidmore: In two of the past three years, the Golden Knights have met Skidmore in the Liberty League playoffs, including last season. Clarkson was swept during the regular season in 2016-17, but won in the conference tournament at Skidmore. The Thoroughbreds hold a 31-23 advantage in the series, but the two teams have gone 4-4 in the last three seasons.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-2): After somewhat of a slow start, Devin Sorell has scored 20 or more points in three of her last four games, including a season-high 29 against SUNY Potsdam on Tuesday. It marked the 16th time in her career that she has gone for 20 or more. Against Rensselaer, Sorell averaged 29.5 points per game in 2016-17, making eight 3-pointers and shooting 19-for-25 from the free throw line.  Madison Shea nearly recorded a triple-double against the Engineers in the first meeting of 2016-17, finishing two assists shy with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

Key Stats for Rensselaer (3-3): The Engineers started strong, averaging 85.0 points per game, but as the schedule strengthened the offense dropped off considerably to 56.3 points per contest. Elizabeth Eckhardt was one player who wasn't affected by the increased competition, as the junior guard has averaged 18.0 ppg while shooting 50.0% from the floor (20-for-40) and from beyond the arc (10-for-20). Eckhardt leads the team in scoring at 14.3 ppg, trailed closely by LaKissa Martin (12.5 ppg) and Sam Krumbhaar (11.0 ppg).

Key Stats for Skidmore (1-2): Senior Kelly Donnelly, a two-time Liberty League Player of the Year and All-American, put up huge numbers against the Golden Knights last season, averaging 25.7 points and 15.7 rebounds per game in 2016-17. Donnelly has six double-doubles in eight career games against Clarkson. This year, she is averaging 16.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while classmate Veronica Moceri ranks second in both categories for the Thoroughbreds, averaging 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest.
