In the last non-conference weekend of the season, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team will hit the road for the first time, hoping to keep its perfect record intact. The Golden Knights will travel to Oswego and Nazareth for games.

Clarkson is 4-0-0 to start the season and has outscored opponents 21-2. Clarkson has an even bigger margin in shots as the Green and Gold have taken 102 shots and allowed just 12. First-year head coach is one win away from tying Sarah Raymond for the best coaching start in Clarkson history. Lauren Flynn also has a shot at history this weekend. With 13 points on six goals and one assist already this season, Flynn is moving up the all-time career scoring lists at Clarkson. With a point, Flynn will move into sole possession of seventh on the career points list. A goal will put her into a tie for third on the all-time goals list and will also tie her previous career high of seven goals in a season.

Clarkson had 15 goals over the last weekend, dropping Johnson State 8-1 and then beating Green Mountain 7-0. The scoring was spread out among the team as ten different players scored in the two games. Emily Hallee scored three goals in the two games while Summer Gillespie and Kanoe Eichholz scored the two game-winning goals. Elyse Green started both games in goal with Nicole Zlotnick making her first two appearances in relief.

Oswego comes into the weekend with a 2-1-1 record so far. The Lakers most recently defeated Alfred in their home opener by the score of 2-0. Alexa Restante and Mary Morrison lead Oswego with four points each, although the Lakers already seven players with at least one goal scored and eight with at least one point. Clarkson has struggled against Oswego, with an all-time record of just 2-24-0 against the Lakers.    Oswego has won six straight matchups between the team, dating back to 2004. The last meeting came in 2014 when Oswego took a 2-0 home win.

Nazareth has a 2-1-1 record this season. The Golden Flyers won their first two games before tying Geneseo and losing to Brockport. The game-winning goal in the Brockport loss was the first goal allowed by Nazareth while the Golden Flyers have tallied four goals. Laura Herman leads the way with a game-winning goal and an assist with Jessica Byrnes grabbing the other game-winning goal. Allison Dobles has played every minute in goal and has a save percentage of .952. Clarkson and Nazareth have met the past three seasons with Nazareth winning all three. Last season, the Golden Flyers gave Clarkson its first loss of the season by the score of 4-2. After going behind 1-0, Madison Kather scored the tie the game before Nazareth added two more goals. Carlee Casey scored to get Clarkson within one, but a final Nazareth goal helped the Golden Flyers come away with the win.
