Poughkeepsie, NY - Freshman forward Mickala Henson (Waverly, NY) enjoyed one of her best games as a collegian with 20 points and 11 rebounds, but her efforts could not keep the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team from dropping its third straight Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) game Friday evening as the Golden Knights fell to Vassar 60-48.

Clarkson fell to 7-12 overall and 2-6 in the UCAA, while the Brewers improved to 4-14 and 1-7 in the UCAA.

Junior point guard Linda Fernandez (Kennebunkport, ME) recorded 11 points, six rebounds and five steals for the Golden Knights. Fernandez entered this weekends games ninth in the country in steals with 4.2 per contest. Freshman Sarah Wesner (Sidney, NY) also added eight points and six rebounds.

Lizzie Evans led the Brewers with a team-high 16 points while Erin Harper scored nine points, grabbed nine rebounds and added eight assists.

The Golden Knights close out the UCAA road portion of the schedule when they visit Rensselaer at 2:00 pm on Saturday in Troy, NY.
